Losing boost

Hello ALL. Need some advice & help. I've gone for the 8 psi upgrade recently. However I'm losing boost from 7K rpm to redline. Boost builds up & peaks (8psi) at 4K rpm but drops to 6 psi from 7K to redline. You can actually feel the car hitting a flat spot at higher revs.

Belt slipping? leak?

Thnks. I will check. BTW, do you get a sustained boost of 8 psi all the way till red line?

Well I have an 8psi kit. I see 8 psi by 5-6 k, and it crawls up to 9-10 psi at 8 grand, but is mostly around 8-9 up top.

At 6psi (pulley), it was the same, but 2 psi less.

Slipping belt. Check the alternator belt also, which drives the sc belt. Don't over tighten it though.
